Questions homeowners ask
How much does a 20x20 concrete patio cost?
That is 400 square feet, so roughly $2,650 to $4,550 with a plain broom finish. Stamped concrete on the same slab runs about double. Removing an existing patio first adds around $1,600 at that size.
What is the average cost of a 12x12 concrete patio?
About $950 to $1,650 at 144 square feet. Small patios carry a job minimum. The crew, the truck and the pour cost much the same whether the slab is 144 square feet or 300, so the price per foot is higher than on a larger one.
How much does a 15x30 concrete patio cost?
At 450 square feet, roughly $3,000 to $5,100 for a broom finish. At that size it is worth pricing a decorative finish, because the base prep and forming are already being paid for and only the surface treatment changes.
Is stamped concrete worth it over plain?
It costs about twice as much and looks considerably better, but it needs resealing every few years or the colour fades and the pattern flattens. Plain broom finish is the lower-maintenance choice; stamped is the one people regret only if they skip the sealing.
